i have a laptop and i got tha cable that every monitor bring with the two screw.. well i plug it to the laptop but it dont send the signal to the tv i look at all inputs of the tv and none get singnal from the laptop i tried shot down the laptop screen and notting? i got a sony hd lcd and a acer travelmate c310 any suggestions guys...

Yes, I have two suggestions. First, read the laptop manual where it tells you how to switch to external output. Then, read the HDTV manual where it tells you what formats it will display from the VGA input. Now, make sure the laptop display settings match the TVs input capabilities, and you're all set. Simple.
