My wife, I, and my son have ben debating more or less this ever since it was deliver yesterday morning. We have hear a story from a friend with a 70 inch plasma (mind you, this be 3 or 4 years ago) where his tube broke within just 6 MONTHS!! Sony told him that it be because he would leave it rotten then turn it on, and he should confer on it on standby at all times. Is that still an issue presently that today, plasma tv's work for about 10 years?????
Answers: Won't thing. Today's TV use push on switch which mean your micon is other in on position waiting for switch command.
It is simmiliar next to standby position the diferent only surrounded by stanby LED for stan by is light. If you want concrete diferent than you need to unplug the power cord contained by this way your micon won't be working as very well. But it's not practice.
