but for how do i get hd cable and how much more does it cost

Answers:    You will own to sign up for the HD channels on cable. They don't come automatically. For me it's an extra $5 a month to catch the HD channels.

Not every show is created as HD, so if displayed on the HD gutter, it shows up as a normal 4:3 aspect near black bars on the sides.

You should enjoy settings on your TV to stretch the picture or zoom in to capture rid of them. Personally I find the stretch far more annoying that the black bars. The black bar are quickly unseen while the stretched people is really annoying.

You'll have to contact your local cable company or check their trellis site to see exactly what channels they convey in HD.

Yes, you'll obligation a player to play blu-ray. Sony PS3's will do it if you are looking at game machines. I'm not sure but I believe Xbox 360 plays the at odds standard of HD-DVD, but I could be wrong on this one. I know it doesn't play blu-ray though.
you can get HD for cable. But I do not imagine it's worth your money... Sometime in Feb '09 There will not be any reguler cable. It will be adjectives digital. No more analog cable.
