I have a Symphonic LCD TV ,picture is great except when I watch DVD movies they are black and white?

IF your using the COMPONENT inputs on the TV for your DVD connection, your G or Y connector is properly connected, but your Pb and Pr connections are not connected. Make sure they are connected, and if they are..
Buy a NEW cable for it.
IF you're using an S-Video cable, then the Color pin or the Color wire is broken..
Buy a NEW cable for it too..
There must be something wrong with your connections between the DVD and TV. Explain more about the setup.
If it's not the cable conection maybe something wrong with the color system.
I would say the laser in the DVD is not recognizing the colors, if the color is good while watching TV. Sometimes this occurs when using a scart lead, since a joint or one of the 21 pins in the socket may be faulty. If you are using a scart cable, try wiggling the plug & see if that has any effect. If it does,the scart socked or it's lead could be faulty. I'm just guessing. Hope you track down the problem.
