Does HDMI Cable work on a SDTV and will this enhance the HD part of picture and nouns?

I have a Goodmans 28 inch SDTV and i enjoy the playstation 3

Answers:    Having an HDMI input on an SDTV is ridiculous. Anything more than RCA jacks on an SDTV is a bit silly.
I would be surprised if goodmans SD tv's had an HDMI input!

And even if it did, your picture wont be High Def, though it would be better than composite.

I devise your choice would be to use the standard AV cable they give you. The picture would be set to SD contained by the playstation. You would still get well-mannered graphics, but they would be Standard definition. The difference between SD and 1080p is unbelievable though, so reclaim up your pennies for a good telly!
If you own the HDMI connection on your equipment and your TV it is a well brought-up connection to use. It will provide great Video part but I'm sure you already know the cable is rather expensive.
