I have a 27 inch Phillip TV that have had some speaker problems - the speakers be obviously shot so I obligingly removed the large cover panel that encompass the rear expiration of the television set and wisely removed the 2 speakers. I noted the part number on the speakers, ordered brand tentative speakers from a reputable online parts dealer. Same exact speakers, same watts, same ohms, size, shape, everything. I reinstalled the tentative speakers and turned on the tv. No sound whatsoever. There be 2 wires running to the speakers with clips on the ends for trouble-free installation and they were different sizes so you can't mess up the wires - big plugs into big and small into small. Why is within no sound? I auto programed the rut settings just incase nearby was a quirck surrounded by the system but everything seems to be newly fine. Just no sound is coming through. Is nearby a reset switch that I need to hit? What can I do?
Answers: Certain Philips models enjoy a headphones switch that cuts out the major speakers. It's rectangular and sits next to the 1/4" jack headphone socket at the bottom right appendage side of the set.
