VIZIO LCD Contrast Ratio? Ouestion....?

I'm looking to purchase a flat screen, any the VIZIO 42" or the VIZIO 46". The main difference within the specs is the "Contrast Ratio". The 46" has a 2000:1 contrast ratio and the 42" have a 1500:1 contrast ratio.
Which one should I get? Thanks!

Answers:    Contrast ratio is a impressively important spec. However, comparing specs between different manufacturer is meaningless, because they all use different length methods and definitions. However, for a single factory owner, hopefully, they're consistent within their product file. Then, comparing one Vizio with another should be perceptive. I would go next to the 46" for two reasons. First, the better contrast ratio spec. Second, because I enjoy read in oodles articles that one statement made pretty consistently by HDTV purchasers, is that "they should have gotten a bigger one". I'm assiuming here that adjectives of the other specs between the sets are comparable.
