1366 x 768 resolution is 720p -- how does that work?

I'm talking almost HDTVs that say they own a resolution of 1366 x 768 (or just 768 horizontal lines) and after say that they do 720p.

Does it mount the pixels or something?

Answers:    No one seems to own answered your question. Most 720P sets are truly 768P. Just as 480 i and P, and 1080 i and P are rescaled to fit on the screen, so is 720P. The 720 vertical lines are rescaled to 768 vertical lines. Yes, pixels are added.
