What are the advantages of getting a samsung lcd tv from jvc lcd?

Recently I've been in the market for a HDTV and I did a bit of research and price shopping.
Out of the tv's I have seen I would rate the sony lcd's as having the best image quality.
next on the list would definately be a samsung. and i dare say that the samsung has a brighter picture than the sony.
I personally settled in the end on a 42 inch magnavox. it was about 1300 at walmart of all places.
The best advice I can give you before you buy anything. Definately take a trip down to best buy and look at the picture quality of all the lcd tv's they have. You should always compare image quality of the tv's you wish to buy.
And unless you have money to spend 1080p is the way to go. if not the 720p is not bad. in this case price = better.
samsung is a longer word...go with the JVC
