Are pre-owned TV's from Target a good buy?

When you say "pre-owned" are you actually speaking about an item that was returned and restocked?
If so I'd expect it to carry the same warranty as if it were unopened.
By pre-owned do you mean refurbished? As long as the warranty is the same, I would and have before.
No. "Pre-owned" means used ! And you never know how used it is. A TV is better out of the box. Unless it's VERY cheap ! No, they're NOT good as new.

I bought a used TV from Target, then guess what happened.
Once i get home and set it on the table, it completely collapsed. This may sound funny but i'm serious. Then i went back to see if i could return it. They made a ton of excuses not to take it back. i went to my lawyer and we were able to sue them for a few thousand dollars.

its more then likely a return or a display model and they should offer an extended warranty this may cost more money how ever verses the cost of a new one (TV)it may be worth it .
save you time and money
if it was returned it was not a good thing to have to Begin with.
think about it first.
don't look for bargains in the returns buy a good one and then it not a worry some thing for you.
why buy some one Else's problems
I would never buy a pre-owned Tv, because the original owner got rid of it for a reason, and that reason is not likely anything good. Pay a little more & get a well known brand with a warranty, and you will be better off.
