Wich one is better?? LCD OR PLASMA??

Answers:    They both have their pros and cons.

Plasma: A lot heavier than LCD models, so if you're planning to mount it, you might own difficulties and suggest paying someone (best Buy, Circuit city) to do so. They do tend to display black colors bettter than LCD (although LCD tvs are getting a lot better). THey touch fast movement for a while better than LCDs, so for sports, they are optimal. They are typically cheaper than LCDs, especially the bigger you go. ($3500 for a 65 inch, as apposed to something like $6000 for same size in an LCD). They also enjoy a shorter life span than an LCD tv (although some models are improving at this) usually half the existence of an LCD. Plasma tvs also give stale a lot of warmth...Plasmas biggest downfall, is that they get seriously of glares if they're within direct contact with sunlight. So if your room is unbelievably brightly lit by sunlight, DEFINATELY do not get a Plasma.

LCD: Much lighter than Plasma tvs, brand them easier to mount to your wall. Much BRIGHTER vibrant colors than PLasma, but some models dont display black colors as accurately as a plasma. Watching some fast motion sports can create slight "blurring" of picture since their refresh rate is slower than plasma. If you're looking for smaller models (19"-32") availability surrounded by LCD blows Plasma tvs, but as you get bigger, the price jump significantly more than same size in a plasma. LCDs enjoy a near-impossible burn-in chance, as apposed to plasmas, where on earth a tv logo displayed on your tv for long periods of time can if truth be told burn in into your peak. OPTIMAL for gaming (Ps3, XBOX 360) LCDS absorb glare, so they're optimal for brightly lit rooms. Sony and Samsungs by far make the best LCD tvs on the planet. Check out the Sony Bravia XBR4 or XBR5. BY far the best LCD to date. The 52" right very soon is on sale at most places, I've see it going for $2999 at Best Buy/Circuit city.

Hope this helps! Feel free to e-mail if you hold any questions. It's really simply based on what your desires are. I own one of each set, and similar to them both, if I had to. I would pick LCD as my best, but again, that's situation of opinion
Lcd. Plasma will burn out sooner
