Should a tv stand be bigger than the tv?



Answer:
It should be either the same size or bigger.
If it's smaller and if you have small children or grandchildren
they are liable to tip it over and injure themselves.

well, you don't want it too much smaller than the tv. breakage. one with an adequate weight support is needed. the TV may look smaller than the stand, but how heavy is the TV?

get one that can support the weight.
