Local hd channel, antenna type?
I am wondering, could it be since I am not really on a "true" TV antenna that this is what the problem is? I focus it is an old radio antenna, but we appear to get great analog signals through it. Any thoughts?
Answers: First rotten, there is no true HD TV antenna, that's simply marketing. Now as far as using your antenna, if it's bringing in analog channel with a unfaultable picture chances are it's not really a radio antenna, it picks up TV too.
Couple of things to check out, one is where on earth the antenna is pointing in relation to the digital towers for the broadcasters surrounded by your area. The other article to think something like is although the channel is broadcast on culvert 35 for your digital (HD) channel for that broadcast, it may in fact show up as a sub channel of the analog trench, displayed like 6-1 or 6.1. Check that and see if you hold that channel. That's your HD gutter.

I have one entry to add. You entail to do a SCAN on your tv before you can prospect digital channels. After the scan, flip thru adjectives your stations. You may be surprised to find that you pick up more channels after you did before you get the new tv.
Also, some tv's own a button on the remote to switch between analog channels and digital channel. My Sony Bravia tv is like that.
