have a 19" Polaroid TV. When I turn it on, i receive sound but no picture. It's completely black. What's wrong beside it and how much is it going to cost me. Thanks for your help
Answers: Most potential it's the power supply if it's an LCD TV...
If it's a CRT TV set, it would be the Horizontal output, and I have NOT SEEN any Polaroids that are CRT base.....
Is it worth the repair? A good TV repairman might know how to fix the power supply, so it would be wise to repay the diagnostic charge to get an estimate of repair....
That happen to me once and it just fixed by itself, but I expect other t.v. repairs are around $50!
