I own a 32" sony trinitron. the picture is vertically striped next to five different colors. what can i do?
Answers: Go into your menu and turn bad the color adjustment...if you see a clean and clear black and white picture, after you have a MAJOR fascinating field close your TV set....things like speakers immediate or even a large piece of metal.....
Remove them from the TV's neighbourhood......
IF you see a perfectly CLEAN black and white picture lacking the stripes of color, then the color circuit does obligation serviced...
BUT....your signal source may also be the cause of your problem.
And you didn't mention whether you have a cable box, or satellite box or anything.....but if you do, UNPLUG the box for 5 minutes and let it RESET itself....
Meanwhile, check your TV's operation out by attaching another box resembling a DVD player....get a picture on the eyeshade and see if the stripes are still there....if so, your TV wants it's color circuitry serviced.....AND it could be your Crystal, which is fairly inexpensive to replace.
