we had a plasma tv, and bestbuy said we couldnt play video games on it, anyways the panel broke, but we could still keep under surveillance tv, it was basically changing colors a bit. So we wait 4 months and bestbuy didnt do crud. So now they transport a dude, and he breaks the tv so then we couldnt even keep watch on tv. Lol theyre supposed to get posterior to us today but....Anyways HERE'S MY QUESTION: WHAT GOOD TV SHOULD WE GET THAT YOU CAN PLAY VIDEO GAMES ON...IM THINKING THEYRE GOING TO GET US THE SAME TV, BUT WE SHOULD GET A NEW ONE THAT CAN PLAY GAMES. ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO?
Answers: The reason for not playing games on a plasma is mostly due to burn-in issues where on earth if you play for hours and parts of the screen don't transfer then you will mess up the colors within that area. For gaming the best woudl be an LCD base TV. Anything with a soaring contrast ratio would be best so you will be looking at brand names most probable. Unfortunitly you will probly need to spend more money for matching size tv.
If you're worried about the burn-in issue on Plasmas (basically a non-issue nowadays) I'd recommend an LCD set near a 120hz refresh rate, which will net your reaction times a short time ago a bit faster which could make a difference surrounded by a crazy battle near Nazis or aliens.
