I bought a Samsung 40 inch LCD last year for $1699.00 from Best Buy, I also purchased the extended warranty. I have tech come out last week to look at the tv and he call me yesterday stating that the tv can't be fixed and that Best Buy will do an exchange. Now for my question. How does this work? I enjoy gotten two different answers, one from corpoarte where they right to be heard i get a store credit for the price of the tv i purchased which be $1699, when i go to the store they enunciate i get a comparable tv next to are currently running at $1100, so who is correct? Is the store trying to jerk me around?
Thanks contained by advance
Answers: IT DEPENDS.....
IF your TV is still beneath manufacturer's warranty, then they exchange it for like type of TV set....
IF your TV is under the Extended warranty when you brought it surrounded by for service, they will generally make available you the Price of the TV set so you can get another one.....
I believe your Extended Warranty company is NEW (National Electronic Warranty Co.) ...you should nickname them directly IF your TV set was OVER 1 year antediluvian when you brought it to Best Buy to have it serviced.... Ask them how they filch care of you.
The abnormal thing is Samsung should own parts to repair your TV set....so maybe the part of the pack costs more than the TV does.....Bad display panel would do it in.
1100.
