XBox 360 resolution setting?

I just get a new Samsung LE19R71BX 19" 1440 by 900. I am using the vga cable but dont know what resolution to put it on. Is 1280 by 768 a good resolution for my tv?

Sounds like your Samsung is built MORE for computers than for TV usage....but since it have DVI-D and HDMI on it, I would USE those inputs so you can set your X-Box to 1080 and give the TV the largest amount of digital information it wants to rescale it to your Display.....

Those 2 inputs will guarantee the highest resolution for your TV.
As for your PC Input, you might want to check your X-box out on 1080, but if the picture craps out, hope your X-box is designed to revert put money on after 30 seconds...
