Which TV should I buy, Dlp, lcd or plasma?

We are shopping for a new TV. We obtain a different answer at every store we go to. We are more confused in a minute. What is the best deal? What have the best longevity? We have closely of light surrounded by our room. We view it from three different rooms contained by our house.

Answers:    This should help you opt. I found out on a very reliable verbs where , contained by the forum , they discuss problematic TV display types. An ace TV repair man trained in adjectives the latest technology said that for each( 1 ) DLP display he fixed, he fixed 10 plasmas; for each (1) LCD he repaired he fixed 10 DLP's. It amounts to fixing 1 LCD for 10 DLPs & 100 plasmas broken ! So, I would travel LCD in a Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, contained by that order.
LCD is the best plasma will soon lose its colors
- Plasma -

Pros: Picture trait is FANTASTIC, Super Thin
Cons: EXPENSIVE! Eventually the Plasma wears down (3-6 years) and you own to buy a new, super-expensive TV, make a buzzing sound if you live above 6,000 foot.

- LCD -

Pros: Great picture quality, Super Thin
Cons: Also terrifically expensive but becoming more reasonable

- DLP -

Pros: Very appropriate picture quality, cheaper
Cons: Bigger and Heavier

Depending on where on earth you're going to put it, I'd go DLP for a big line room TV or LCD for one that you'll hang on your wall surrounded by a smaller room like a bedroom.
It mostly a short time ago depends on what you want to do with the TV. If you, or your children, are into playing video games afterwards I would stay away from Plasma and DLP. DLP's are good but a bit more fuzzy, most folks are split inbetween Plasma and LCD these days. Plasma's do hold a problem with *burn-ins* (where the burn-in certainly burns onto the screen..it's infrequent, but happens.), LCD's are the method to go contained by my opinion, the colors might not *glow* as much as plasma, but they enjoy a longer lifespan, they are far cheaper, and it delivers a nice picture and color inventory for movie watching, tv watching, and playing video games. Go for a 1080p LCD, look up or check out some models that are reported to display good blacks and have a nice contrast ratio..... most of the tv's you really can't go wrong, you are going to be satisfied regardless if its your first HDTV. I have my eye set on the Samsung LNT4061F 40" 1080p LCD-TV. Make sure your TV have atleast two HDMI ports. (High-Definition Multimedia Interface), as that is the preferred method for hooking up HD-DVD and blu-ray players immediately.
Im personally not a supporter of DLP tvs.
Have seen them come and run in New Zealand in a couple of years. And we are a country a little at the rear the times.
Alot of people (including me) are artificial by the "Rainbow Effect". When you scan eyes over screen, see rainbow colours! Horrible to see.
Stick with LCD or Plasma.

Here put simply is the differences between Plasma and LCD

LCD's: Higher resolution (sharper), brighter, non-reflective.

PLASMA: Faster processor for movement, (Smoother images) more untaught colours (due to high contrast),and 3 dimensional look.

Most nation are buying LCDs, as with HD TV they look that much sharper, etc. If you are a sports enthusiast, recommended Plasma still, because of lots of movement, but for general TV , gaming, and Dvds, LCD. Follow the trend!

Both are great technology, just different! Similar prices across the board too.

It seem that no matter who you speech too, or read reviews about, Plasma still comes up near the overall best picture, but most people would a bit have Sharper Image, and Non-Reflective eyeshade, than a more Realistic Image with Smoother Movement?!?!

Recommend: Sony/Samsung LCDs.
Panasonic/Pioneer/Samsung plasmas.

Hope this help
GEEZ...you are getting the SAME SITUATION HERE AS AT THE STORES !! Everybody has an inference!

WELL....I HAVE TO FIX PEOPLE's MISTAKES !

So I'll give you two choices, and how to PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

IN YOUR SITUATION....LCD PANEL TV will impart the least amount of reflection from the sunlight....
And it MIGHT be big enough to soak up from all 3 rooms....

I purely saw a 50 inch LCD panel TV, but I bet it costs way too much.
AND.....IF YOU HAVE LITTLE KIDS, they DESTROY LCD PANEL TV SETS.....Get a piece of LEXAN plastic and some Velcro to create a protective cover over the eyeshade (lumberyards!)

The NEXT best choice is actually a Mitsubishi DLP TV set....great picture, pious lamp vivacity, kinda KID-PROOF (knives and scissors can scratch it--but simply costs $400 to repair it) and the PICTURE is fantastic.
LCD its the best
