Lcd or plasma?

what do you recommend im looking to buy a 42" to 50" whats best lcd or plasma what last longer as i own heard plasmas dont finishing that long is this true any help for your experiences would be greatly appreciated

The truth -

Both LCD and plasma television have a time expectancy of around 60,000 hours.

Both LCD and plasma screens suffer from burn (an ATM blind, where you can witness this effect is in actual fact an LCD...).

A 37" LCD will use about 250 watts of electricity - a 37" plasma will use almost 300 watts of electricity.


And before we capture any of the truly idiot answers, plasmas AREN'T filled beside water, they DON'T hold oil that requests changing and they DON'T fry your room.
