I have a 10-year-old Toshiba 35" tube TV. Whenever I turn it on, I only bring back a silver/bright white line that runs horizontally surrounded by the middle of the tube. This is the only entry that I currently see whenever I turn it on. Previously, it would work fine for a few days and then out of nowhere, the silver chain would appear and all tv watching would abstain from. Now that is adjectives that I get.
Is this a simple fix, or would it be smaller quantity expensive to purchase a new one.
Thanks and purloin care!

If you're lucky, you solitary have a bleak connection on the o/p ic chip (just requires resoldering the printed circuit board), or the chip may own blown. There are other things around the vertical circuit that can cause this but this is the most adjectives problem.
time for a new one
