Getting the best out of my HDTV?

I have a 52" Rear Projection RCA HDTV. I bought it a few months vertebrae. I don't know much about HD, it seem really confusing to me (I'm not really smart with TV's and whatnot). I want to win the best I can get out of this TV input sage. For example, I own a PS3 and Xbox 360. What is the best kind of cable to use to hook those systems up to the TV I have. By the path. Anywho. I stipulation to know the best things to use to get the best picture I can purchase with those systems and that TV. Tell me anything and everything. Regaurdless of price, I want to swot up something here. Thanks.


Answers:    Ok....you have 1 DVI input and 2 component inputs....and afterwards 2 SD video inputs too...

Now the smartest thing to do is use the COMPONENT inputs for your Xbox and PS3...however you did not mention if you enjoy an HD satellite or Cable box....

You really want to save that DVI connector for that.....

But if you don't hold one, then you can take an HDMI Cable, run to Radio Shack and pick up an HDMI/DVI adaptor

DVI is the same signal as HDMI, but the connector socket is totally different and does not include nouns on the DVI socket....

That's why they have the Audio RCA connectors at hand for sound...

So....if you want to, Use the HDMI closing stages on your PS3 unit, attach a set of Stereo RCA cable to your PS3 and plug it into the DVI INPUT on the TV set......

The reason is because the PS3 can be setup for HD DVD viewing using the BLU-RAY DVDS and the extra Blu-Ray player....
