Answers:    Buy Consumer Report magazine. They rate brands/plasma vs LCD. For your info. Sony has discontinued industrial plasma sets. Consumer reports likes Panasonic contained by both 1080 & 720, but they recommend you check out the picture quality of sets while you can see them on display surrounded by a store.
