We are looking for a 32 or 37 inch LCD tv, but don't want to spend a lot of money. We found two brands at Costco, Olevia and Daytek which are hugely decent prices but basically want to make sure that they will still be a well-mannered tv not a flop. Looking for advice on what to look for and if the brand cross really means anything?
Answers: They are flops. Cheap=crap.
Olevia is built a bit better, but when it comes down to it, you necessarily bought a disposable tv, once it breaks no parts or support for the unit.
Namebrand matter if you want factory support.
Check into a LG, Panasonic, Toshiba, Mitsubishi.
All walmart units, past its sell-by date brands are half the price of a characteristic unit.
