What's beside this exotic "DIGITAL TV LAW" for 2009?

What is this all roughly speaking? The people who use antennas, will the hold to now subscribe to monthly charges of late to watch tv? Or do we catch FREE digital tv?

What about our current TV's, will we requirement to buy those HD-TVs?

The US is varying from a analog TV broadcast system based on 1930's technology to a digital system base on 1990's technology.

Over the atmosphere TV will still be free, but it will have a greater picture quality.

Digital TV signals can be cheaply converted to analog ones. The only TV's that will be old are some portable TVs that do not have a instrument to attach an external TV.

Allows new TVs to be built that display a better resolution picture.

Allows more broadcast channels within a smaller frequency allocation. This will allow what was channel 52-69 to be used for new wireless services.
Go to www.dtv.com and find out better, still we are going to bring free tv using a digital convertor or subscribing to cable or sat.No inevitability to buy hd's tv's
