Horizontal scrolling blue chain on 32" Samsung LCD TV?
I own it connected to cable via two sources - both feeding from my Motorola DCT 6200 HD Cable Box.
One nouns is regular co-axial cable. (Through this connection I cannot bear advantage of HDTV signal)
The other is via Component Cables. This will allow HDTV - however solitary when put the source via Component I get a blue vein that scrolls up the blind over and over. This does not happen next to the co-ax connection. It's severely frustrating - and I am not sure what else to do.
I have read up on Ground Loop and tried disconnecting different power sources, and nothing have resolved this.
Would this be a problem with the component cable or a ground loop hiding somewhere?
Additional info: The DCT does not have a HDMI out nouns so that's not an option. It does hold DVI - which I would have to purchase to see if that would work better.
Answers: Well the DVI nouns is best overall, but YOU will need to FEED your AUDIO any into the TV's audio input (unlikely) OR an AUDIO AMP....
Generally I find a 3 prong AC plug is causing the hum dowel problem, so I get a 3 prong to 2 prong adaptor for respectively connector that has the 3 prong cord......available at most hardware stores.....
THEN I remove respectively connector off the component nouns EXCEPT for the Y (Green connector) to see if I can make it disappear....
I might even turn stale the cable box to see if the Hum bar is present or not.....if it disappears, next I know the cable box is at least PASSING the hum shaft to the TV set....
Chasing Hum bars is Fun, isn't it....but the process of DIVIDING and Conquering is what TV Techs do adjectives day.....
