Why does my DLP TV have a green discoloration?

I have a 56" Samsung DLP TV which has a green discoloration on 90% of the screen. It started small and grew over time. The problem has nothing to do with color settings or cables. It looks like someone drew all over the screen with a lime green highlighter.

Answer:
The light engine will need to be replaced, the DMD board is bad, you will need a second job to pay for this repair.
Hope it's under warranty, I've heard about the problem on LCD called the green blob, so maybe your DLP is a LCD /DLP if so the mfg. has tried to pretend this isn't happening but has made repairs. Seems like I read on the net about some law suits over the issue.

Good Luck
your tube is going bad.
