Hello, today I purchased a 1080p Sharp television. I come home and hooked everything up but my xbox 360 will only dance to 1080i. My friend who was next to me bought a 1080p Sharp took his home and his xbox goes to 1080p. What's the problem beside mine?
Answers: I had like peas in a pod problem. Are you using component cables (the three cable colored red,blue,green)? If so that is your problem. 1080p format is singular supported by HDMI cords. One cord replaces all those others and is by far smaller number annoying. Hope this helps.
the single way to carry 1080p on the 360 is through the HD-DVD accessory next to an HDMI cable.
