Comcast Upgrade to HD?

I just get an LCD HDTV but with my regular digital cable, the picture is not so clear. It is coarse, and even a little worse than digital cable on our glutinous televisions. I'm thinking that upgrading to HD could be the solution to the problem, but when I checked for HD channel in my nouns, there weren't deeply of channels that I watch often. Sure, near was ABC, CBS, etc., but I usually keep watch on some other channels close to Nick or ABC Family, etc. When will those channels be available contained by HD? Will Is there a calendar?
And also:
Why is it taking Comcast so long to get more HD channel when other providers like DirecTV are adding together about seven respectively week?! I do not want to switch providers because that would just be confusing -- the direct change and everything.


Answers:    ABC Family is supposed to start their HD tube in the foundation of 2008. Actually 2008 is supposed to be a HUGE year for high def. You can expect lately about every warren you watch to move about hd during the next year or so.
So, why is Comcast taking so long to upgrade their system? That's the interrogate on my mind as well. Supposedly, the cable companies hold quietly be switching their cable system to a technoloy called Switched Digital (STV). This will allow the cable companies to donate dozens of new stations soon. Time Warner, Charter, and Cablevision enjoy all made announcements during the ultimate few months that they will be greatly expanding their hd line-up soon. I'm sure that Comcast won't be very far bringing up the rear. Don't forget that Comcast is by far the largest cable company,,, so it might take them longer to go and get SDV to ALL their customers.

I would still suggest that you switch to high def cable box. The wires that you use to hook that cable box to your tv will reorganize the reception on ALL your stations... not just the giant def channels.
HEY! okay, even if you dont watch those HD channel often.... you can still capture HBO,Showtime,STARZ,Cinemax.... and some more MOVIE channels fairly than focusing on just the tv shows......i couldnt report ya why comcast is taking their sweet ol' time getting our favorite channels contained by HD. But i can tell u that u DO NOT want the dish introduce yourself. The only fitting thing that come outta Dish network is the NFL bridge (network) but what good is have it if there's always something wrong next to the signal? Hope I was of some comfort!
