I have bought two of these over the later month. When you buy them you are supposed to programme them with the code of the TV or other device you want them to control. In both of these, despite following the instructions to the memorandum and finding the correct codes, we cannot get them to work. I hold wasted lb20 on these things! Anyone else have this experience, or know how to resolve the problem?
Answers: I bought one for a friend of mine and the same piece happened, we enter the code for her type of telly but it didn't work. We got it working by reading the instructions and found that if a code didn't work you could create the remote try every code in turn by holding a specific button until the telly switched sour, as soon as the telly switched off you consent to go of the button and the code be automatically stored on the remote.
I had to hold the button for a really really long time formerly it worked, I almost gave up.
