Coaxial cable put somebody through the mill, connecting both Dish and antenna?

I want to connect my Dish coaxial (it's the second tv so I have no receiver) and my antenna to my tv at like peas in a pod time so I don't have to be switching between the two, what do I necessitate?

Answers:    Go to Wal-Mart or Radio Shack. They sell a switch that allows you to renovate from antenna to cable. The cable and the antenna go into the bottom and one cable comes out the top which you screw into your coaxial. I own one because I wanted to do indistinguishable thing as you. The switch single costs $5 and you will need to purchase a short coaxial cable as very well. It's very unproblematic. The switch is located in impossible to tell apart aisle as the HDMI cables and whatnot.
First of adjectives, you cannot run the coaxial directly from the dish into your TV (that what it sounds like you want to do). You NEED a box from Dish to go and get any signal. Second, if you have satellite, why would you want an antenna? You are already getting adjectives the local channels on the Dish service anyway.
