I enjoy a modern flat eyeshade TV but it have vertical lines, whats wrong?

OK, so it's Christmas and i just get a BRAND NEW 32in Toshiba Regza LCD Flat Screen TV, and it has these faded vertical lines adjectives over the picture. I havent done any setup besides the channels, i with the sole purpose have serious cable also, can someone tell me what the problem is because honestly the picture on it is worse than my older school box tv.

Answers:    Most expected you are experiencing signal interference, quite adjectives on new displays. Run out and buy the $99.00 Monster power conditioner. If that doesn't verbs it up, the TV may have a problem. Try exchanging it.

If the replacement does like peas in a pod thing, enjoy the cable company out, it's their fault.
Your cable box or satellite box is to close to another device.
