I've set my ps3 up and it doesn't work on my tv, the peak is basically black? What do i want to do?

my tv is a 22 inch samsung, got it going on for 3 years ago, and the connection doesn't work! the peak just stays black.


Answers:    Your settings surrounded by the PS3 must be incorrect.

You will need to pay for down on the resolution settings, and IF you have it SET for Progressive mode, you MUST USE interlaced....

3 year matured TV sets do not use 1080P because it wasn't even used 3 years ago.....That would make it a 2004 model.
And 2006 top back models would be the FIRST to have 1080P inputs....
