Something Wrong With My Aerial Cord (Possibly Aerial)?
I am going to buy a new above ground cord tomorrow, I believe it's the problem because when I tried unplugging it from the TV the metal connection cut detached from the plastic covering, but when I placed it back on it be still operational. However the problem near channel 2 + 10 be still the same beforehand the incident.
Note: The aerial cable is mature, so is it more likely to be the receiver or the cable?
Answers: OK first off you stipulation an HD receiver. Such as a HD set top box from your cable company or satellite provider. If you enjoy cable coming to your house and you have missing channel then their is something wrong near your cable. When you say Ariel, I would assume you are conversation about an antenna. You can receive HD signals over the airwaves but solely when they are being broadcast contained by HD. An everyday ordinary antenna on the roof can pick the signal up. Actually if you can receive HD signal through the heavens they will look better. Cable companies compress data so they can take so many channel in a single QAM. So if your picking it up you are getting it within a non-compressed form. The only downside is you cannot receive HD channel the cable and satellite companies have bid on. They income millions of dollars for exclusive rights to channel rank ups. If you have cable, after call your cable provider. You may own low levels on sure frequencies. That is why your picture is bad. I am a cable guy and I can't give an account you how many times I've gone into homes and see how people split the string over and over. They don't realize they are killing their signal. You can't tag on an HD set at the end of three splitters and expect to find a quality picture....
Start near a new cable. If that does not backing get the unmarked aerial.
