Consider those International Brand's if the prices as roughly speaking. As their made own LCD panel ,normally first grad panel will use for own product. Sony, use own Japan made for hi-end model. standard molder use panel from Korea JV near Sumseng. Sumseng use that for some model ,also another factory by their own ,to support own TV .Philips JV with Korea LG, made LCD panel for their TV. Panasonic and Toshiba JV LCD factory made surrounded by Singapore,JVC use that also.Sharp made good LCD panel from Japan factory. Hitachi near factory in Japan also. OF COURSE other TV nouns will buy panel from those,as not many LCD panel open market now, usally due to COST concern, second grad is selected. Mose OEM brand other do that. Consumer Reports did a wonderful job rating TV's just this minute and the Sony Bravia KDL-32S3000 got great results in picture element. It's 550 or so.

I got a 37'' LCD Sony Bravia HD all set for lb500 from a shop in London. And I love it. I did lots of research and go for the Sony and got the best price I could be doing the query Depends if you want HDTV or not, a stand or bracket, freeview built in.
