I want to buy a LCD TV but which store should i buy it from best buy or circuit city? any suggestion :)?
Answers: Best Buy has the better Service plans
Best Buy have Geek Squad Install (junb_msk) which has be around longer and is better trained that Fire Dog. Also, Geek Squad Home Theater Install is all Best Buy force where as Fire Dog is 90% sub-contracted.
Install prices are alike throughout all the manacle retailers because they compete. If it is not the same price you are NOT getting duplicate service.
Best Buy offers ISF calibration (major metro market only) which make your TV look the best and in actual fact makes it final longer.
Best Buy will be around to take consideration of you in the adjectives where as Circuit City's stock is currently at $3.90 a share and falling each day. Wall Street is waiting for them to "stop trying to fix all their problems one at a time and hang down the for sale sign out".
Wal-mart.......wow, granted it is a cheap place to buy a TV, but if you ask their sale people ANYTHING give or take a few the TVs, you will likely be met near a "deer in headlights" stare. New TVs are a complicated technology and you requirement someone that is up to date to help you clear the right purchase.
Best Buy will match any competitor’s price as long as it is like exact model (Wal-mart carries abundantly of models that are made specifically for them) and it is in stock. Best Buy will also offer you 10% of the difference off as okay so if the TV is $100 cheaper at Circuit City, Best Buy will give you $110 bad their TV.
Go with Best Buy.
progress check out both of the websites frist. compare prices then i'd person in charge out to either store. i lately like the certainty that circuit city has that fire dog piece where they come surrounded by n install everything for ya.
