I hold a static column on my plasma blind.?

I have owned a Panasonic 42" plasma TV for almost 2 years. I own it hooked up to Comcast cable via HDMI. Sometimes, there is a extremely thin strip of static at the very top of the eyeshade. Is this because of comcast or is it my TV? When I watch DVDs or play video games, near is never any static. It only appears when I study TV. It tends to occur most often when I monitor NFL Network. What is causing this and how can I stop it?

Answers:    Get another hd box from Comcast.
