HD-DVD or Blu-Ray also right HD 32 inch - 37 inch television??

which is better HD-DVD or Blu-Ray also please give me some devout but good priced 32 - 37 inch hi-def television..thanks!

Answers:    Before buying any Blu-ray or HD DVD visit a store and demo one or other on the TV size and resolution you plan to buy. At 32-37", particulalry if you choose a 720p model, you won't see much benefit from HD disks (relative to a DVD on a angelic upconverting player).

That said, the lower end HD DVD players (HD-A3 or HD-D3) generate good upconverting DVD players and cost give or take a few the same ... while playing HD DVDs if you want. You could do equal with a Blu-ray player, but prices are somewhat better.

Just note that HD disks are much more expensive than DVDs, not as convenient to rent (and when they are available often cost more to rent for a shorter period), so you may find you verbs to use primarily DVDs.

To answer your question which is better, Blu-ray or HD DVD ... picture and audio point are essentially identical. And differences contained by hardware are decreasing as Blu-ray slowly gets it's accomplishment in gear and finalizes the spec for the format. The primary difference remains in region coding and layered copy protection surrounded by Blu-ray, but not in HD DVD. You will hear Blu-ray have higher storage size, but this is no longer really true and even if it were the extra size is not necessary for movies (which fit surrounded by either format).

At the moment it is unlikely any hD disk format will "win", rather both will remain what they are in a minute ... niche formats for those who can benefit from and are willing to money for HD disks. The rest of the world will continue to use DVDs (they will see them as "well-mannered enough" and HD disks as not worth the extra cost), until there is a gradual shift to video on demand/download of sub-1080p HD video.

Finally, see the links for some reviews on smaller HDTVs.
As long as at hand are format "wars" there are no winner, only losers.

That individual said, Blu-Ray can hold much more information than HD-DVD but is more expensive to produce. Also, the latest Blu-Ray standard have increased the availability of interactivity to about equal HDdvd.

HD-DVD is stll smaller amount expensive if you want to use it as a storage media for your computer, but for movies, the much greater popularity of Blu-Ray give it the advantage.
Well, blue-ray and High Defintion are similar to coke and pepsi, who knows which ones are really better. An HD DVD player is cheaper next blue-ray. It's your choice.
