Problems near LG 37LC7D?

Hello, im trying to set up an LG 37LC7D 37' televison. We pulled it out of the box, set it up, with a dvd recorder (Previously set up on other tv, swet up one and the same way). The remote for the tv didn't work, lit up on the remote and tv but did nothing. Got a fuzzy eyeshade, then used the tv buttons to program it. Got a no signal black peak. And now its support to fuzzy. Any ideas?


Answers:    Try bypassing the dvd recorder, and hook the coax cable directly into the tuner on the hindmost of the tv. If you have more than one tuner input jack, clear sure the cable is screwed into the one labeled "cable". Go into the channel scan contained by the tv menu and have it survey automatically for all your channel. If you get tv stations that method, you have a problem near the dvd recorder or a connection problem. Usually when you hook up a tv to a vcr or dvd recorder, you use the remote on the dvd recorder to redeploy the channels, and set the tv to low 3. It may be possible that when you changed tv's, you might have gotten the cable switched around? Also make sure you are on the right input on the tv. If you are using coax cable, the use the tv input contained by the menu, if you are using componet video cables, afterwards you need to set the tv to input 1 or 2 or which ever input you are using.
