A wharfedale tv. correct buy or not?
Is this a bargain im cr** when it comes to technology?? i want to put it on my chimney breast?
Answers: Wharfedale are an frail, well-respected hi-fi loudspeaker businessman. They don't actually fashion TVs. What this'll be is a cheap set made in some non-descript factory within China with a regognised brand baptize badge stuck on it.
Whether or not it's a upright buy depends on how difficult it would be to find the extra few hundred quid to buy a Samsung, Toshiba, Philips etc.
I usually try to wait until I can afford a 'proper' brand of electronics, as cheaper ones regularly don't perform that resourcefully, or last a long time. The later 'no-name' brand I bought was a Lite-On DVD recorder, and it died 2 months outside the warranty, so on forethought, it might be cheaper in the long run to bring back a good part brand in the first place.
I would instinctively go beside Samsung, you can get a Samsung for that price and size on play.com, amazon.co.uk or comet, a short time ago look around... but yeah, that is other, I just enjoy never heard of that brand earlier...
