To acquire video from tv to closet be equip. is do i stipulation component cable or will coaxial cable work?
Answers: Using RF coaxial cables will NOT DELIVER HD signals from your DVD /Cable/Satellite systems.....solely Low Definition signals....
That's because all of the mentioned boxes simply send HD signals out of the COMPONENT or HDMI outputs....
Channel 3 is still a low def trough anyways....
NOW if they had Channel 3.1....consequently I'd be impressed that they added an HD modulator to their equipment !
If you are running antenna or CATV straight to the TV - then you use coaxial cable.
But frequent systems have a box that converts the coax to video & audio and several different sources: CATV box, DVD player, Game system. If you want to put these within the closet - you have to nurture the video to the TV.
My advice is to run:
- 1 component cable
- 1 HDMI cable
- 1 coaxial cable
from the closet to the TV.
This process you have everything available.
My favorite cable site is BlueJeans. MonoPrice is another site for long cable, but the BlueJeans stuff uses coax & cables that production studios use.
