Plasma TV: Cost of repair/warranty plan?
Just brought home a nice 42" plasma, and need your help...Whats a common breakdown of plasma? Is it repairable/cost? If not, would the extra 399$ be good for warranty plan?.plz answer

Plasma Service is not like old TV, it repair by replacing board (not component) not to mention if the defect comes from the panel.
I think Yes it's worth it.
Depends on what brand you bought.
Be careful because sometimes some of these 3rd party warranty services are far away, so they try to get local repair people to repair your TV, buy most of the time the shop dont except them because they try to scam the owners.
Happened to my shop and I dont take 3rd party warranty services.
Just look into who the company is doing the warranty repair and see if theres any good reviews on that company.
