When we turn on 45 inch sony tv there is no picture?

Some times it takes a long time for the picture to shown up on it and this is are 2 tv that this has had to use and in stead of the picture there is just black and white?

Is this CRT projection TV?
It looks like CRT common problem when it about to die.
or it can be something wrong with the HV section
maybe the bulb is out or you don't have t.v services don't keep the t.v on for too much.(check to make sure the bulb you plugged in meets your t.v's requirements
