Upon pressing the power button on the remote, the tv light indicator turns from red to green, but no picture. I enjoy to unplug the cord and then turn the tv on again, sometimes it take two or three times before the tv comes on. Does anyone know what is cause this and possibly how to fix it.
Answers: Since your TV actually comes on after several attempts, it tell me the LAMPS aren't firing....
And since there are several LAMPS and merely ONE failure point...
It can't be the lamp themselves...it's the power supply for the lamps that's cause your problem..
The only channel to get this fixed is to lift it to an AUTHORIZED Viewsonic service center.
I think you should capture out your Instruction booklet and look for the phone number for service questions.
They will dispense you information on where to receive it serviced.
