HELP - Connecting PC to 32" Samsung LCD TV?
I'm connecting them via VGA but the signal does not seem to come through properly.
The strange entry is that my old computer tower works fine on the Samsung LCD, but beside my new tower the signal doesn't come through.
To brand things stranger, we have an AWA 32" LCD TV contained by another room which both the old and current towers work fine on.
So to sum up:
New Tower + Samsung LCD = not working
Old Tower + Samsung LCD = working
New Tower + AWA LCD = working
Old Tower + AWA LCD = working
I forgot to mention what exactly happen:
1. Both Samsung TV and tower are connected via VGA but off.
2. I turn on TV and put into PC mode.
3. I turn on PC and right now the screen vitally goes into standby mode. This does not transpire with my ripened tower, with my aged tower everything works fine.
Please help.
Answers: I give attention to your new tower have a different graphics processor than your older tower. What you involve to do is make sure that doesn`t matter what resolution you are using for graphical output matches that of the TV. Make sure that you own the lastest drivers for your video card installed on your system. This way you can ensure that problem does not lay next to the Graphics Card. Hook up your computer to a computer monitar and sort out the issue if you can and then try to the samsung again. Will we run from there if here is still a problem. You should be able to use 1024x768 for your TV
