After shopping around for the best LCD TV in the 46"-47" list I found Sony BRAVIA KDL-46V2500 to be the best picture quality for the money, this LCD TV have vivid crisp sharp picture quality and extraordinarily bright (was compared against Samsung, Panasonic, and Toshiba LCD TV's 46" or similar size and even SONY XBR series which can cost $1k more for the same size and by the passageway the BRAVIA uses the same LCD blind as the XBR ), I bought this TV and have be using it for a bit more than a month, it has adjectives the features I want like an HDMI input which is needed to play glorious quality blu streak discs, I also have it connected on the HDMI to my PC and the resolution displays at: 1920X1080 which is great for gaming..The picture standard on this TV is excellent when used in 1080 mode, especially on blu sunbeam and digital TV broadcasting , the only article I don't really like is the speakers on the bottom which add 3" to the lower part of the TV, except that I'm very positive with this TV . I strongly recommend Sony TV,S. Once again I hold been amazed by the picture competence on Sony's LCD technology same way I be when the old Trinitron Sony TV's used to be the best of the best. Again Sony is the best surrounded by video technology.

Sony Bravia, excellent colour looks good though a tad pricey.
Ours be bought for around lb1,000 , 32 inch flat screen digital and its the best TV around. But i own always bought Sony as i really muse they are the best colours.
if you get a panasonic you'll be fine
