I a short time ago bought a cord that connects my tv to my computer?
Answers: You should hold never expected the audio to come through in the first place, computers do merely video on that output.
You have two option, depending on what your computer has and tv supports. Some computers own an Optical connection. If your computer and tv own that, its the best way.
Otherwise, you can grasp a cable that has a headphone connector on one extension (the same connector as computer speakers use) and on the other end have 2 red and white connectors. These are about $5 at radio shack.
Unless you're through component/composit or HDMI your computer wont output audio to the TV, you own to run the audio out of you audio card seprately, you probably bought an AGP>HDMI or VGA>HDMI cable or S-Video cord, none of which output audio. To output audio and video from your computer directly to the TV you have to own a TV Tuner card, which usually has RCA/Stereo connectors, these cards cost anyware from $30 adjectives the way up to $100, but this is RCA so it will connect to a difficult end TV but wont come through within HD.
