Sony tv/computer peak?
Answers: I am assuming you aren't referring to physical inputs, but to some extent Sony "soft" channels.
My Sony HDTV have a "wega gate" which allows me, via the remote, to assign a particular device to what I guess we can give the name a "soft channel."
My concentrate assignment can be set for cable, satellite, VCR input, DVD input, game input, and so on. So...am assuming your extra channel would be for any combination of VCR, DVD, Cable or Sat.
Try http://www.sony.com to try to find a users manual for your device.
And, as you would expect..the very best of luck !!
This is the lineup....
Video 1 to 3 are RCA COMPOSITE inputs (yellow red white) for Low Definition devices close to VCRs and OLD DVD players.
Video 4 and 5 are COMPONENT High Definition Connections for Newer DVDs and HD Cable boxes and SOME GAMES. (5 wire connectors - Green red blue, red and white).
Video 6 and 7 are commonly HDMI inputs for HI BANDPASS High Definition....that's normally for HD CABLE boxes/satellites/Blu Ray and HD-DVD players and PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox beside HDMI.
Lastly is your PC-Input....that's to use your TV as a computer monitor.
NOTE the color of your connectors and the AMOUNT of each one and it will convey you whether it's COMPONENT or COMPOSITE....All the other connections are unique
