Australia - SBS and ABC reception -help?!?
Any suggestions for getting them running with clarity?
Answers: Oh you are within SUCH a HARD PLACE.....
The speckle-vision can be fixed with an RF amplifier....
But the LINES on ABC is the Hard place....
And I option I could SEE the lines first....
But I suspect interference from a MAGNETIC SOURCE like a motor....or NEON....Or radio station...Or a unpromising RF amp on the cable...OR even TWO sources of RF on ONE LINE, like a VCR turned on trough 3 or 4 is presently operating while you are attempting to watch ABC on another conduit...
There are SO MANY things that can create the white lines.....
And white diagonal lines ALWAYS makes me ruminate that the TV's screen control on the vertebrae of the TV set MAY have be bumped up to reveal thin lines spaced more or less 1 inch apart from top to bottom....these lines are higher on the disappeared side than the right side of the TV set....
And some, but not ALL TVs have the blind control EXPOSED on the back of the TV set, it get bumped during moving...
And that's a regular problem we deal near....
Heyyyyyy , you SAID you just moved....check the spinal column for EXPOSED knobs, if you find one or two on the
back--and--right side of the cabinet, helpfully tweak the LOWER knob down.
The upper knob just above it is for FOCUS....they should be in ONE INCH of each other since they are connected together.
