Do Sports on FOX/ABC/CBS Broadcast contained by HD even if you arent subscribed to HD?

We recently bought a TV that can support HD. We are surrounded by a contract with Dish Network and arent subscribed to HD, but when you are watching sports on FOX/CBS/ABC/ESPN they other say it is broadcasted surrounded by HD. I want to know if it is still broadcasted is HD even if you arent subscribed to a HD plan. If they are in HD i am going to buy a HD cord but i dont want to buy one and it not work.

Answers:    No. The broadcast is shot within HD but to get the picture of HD you hold to have your siginal converted through an HD converter and you will also stipulation a HDMI, optical, or componet cables to study you HD. I thought the same article but when I hooked up the HD the right way I know what was missing. If you do not own a HD tv then dont verbs about getting the HD service or cable.
